Flash Floods Displace Thousands in Northeastern Nigeria
Torrential flooding in Adamawa State has killed at least 25 people and displaced around 5,560 residents, many of whom are children.
A relief camp was set up at Aliyu Musdafa College in Yola to provide immediate shelter and aid.
Government agencies and NGOs are working together in the camp to ensure displaced families receive essential support.
Among the responding organizations, MKO Foundation immediately deployed its emergency relief team and created additional shelter space for over 100 displaced children and families, providing mattresses, basic supplies, and temporary protection from the ongoing rains.
